The Sudanese army late Sunday rejected a claim by Ethiopia’s military chief that Khartoum was supporting Ethiopian opposition groups, calling it “baseless.” In a statement, the Sudanese Armed Forces said Sudan remained committed to international law and non-interference in other countries’ affairs but would not allow threats to its sovereignty or national security.
