Two bodies were recovered Monday during search operations for passengers missing from a ferry that sank off Girne in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Aug. 30.
北塞浦路斯土耳其共和国总理府在一份书面声明中表示，搜救人员正在残骸附近约1,000米（3,281英尺）、水深570米（1,870英尺）处继续开展海床搜寻行动。
According to a written statement by the TRNC Prime Ministry, seabed search operations are continuing about 1,000 meters (3,281 feet) from the wreck at a depth of 570 meters (1,870 feet).
声明称，两具遗体是在海床搜寻过程中发现的，DNA检测也已启动，以确定其身份。声明补充称，DNA检测结果公布后，将通知其家属。
The statement said the bodies of two people were found during the seabed search and that DNA testing had begun to establish their identities. Their families will be informed once the DNA results are available, it added.

凯伦近海渡轮沉没事件 “Filo Jet”号是一艘高速客运渡轮，在北塞浦路斯土耳其共和国凯伦港与土耳其梅尔辛塔苏库港之间运营。该船于8月30日中午左右从凯伦出发后不久，船艏开始进水，并在试图返回港口途中沉没。
Ferry sinking off Girne The Filo Jet, a high-speed passenger ferry operating between Girne Port in the TRNC and Tasucu Port in Mersin, began taking on water from its bow shortly after departing Girne around noon on Aug. 30 and sank while attempting to return to port.
船上共有267名乘客和船员。渡轮沉没后，239人获救，15名乘客被确认死亡。残骸在凯伦近海、水深554米（1,818英尺）处被发现。
Of the 267 passengers and crew aboard the vessel, 239 were rescued after it sank, while 15 passengers were confirmed dead. The wreck was located at a depth of 554 meters (1,818 feet) off Girne.
北塞浦路斯土耳其共和国总理乌纳尔·于斯泰尔9月19日宣布，又找到了一名此前被列为失踪者的遗体，使当时确认的死亡人数升至15人，失踪乘客人数降至13人。
TRNC Prime Minister Unal Ustel announced on Sept. 19 that the body of another person who had been listed as missing had been recovered, bringing the confirmed death toll at the time to 15 and reducing the number of missing passengers to 13.
