Australian industrial property developer Goodman Group has withdrawn an application to develop a 24-hour data centre on Sydney’s north shore following public push back.
古德曼集团表示，在考虑了不断演变的联邦和州级政策以及社区反馈后，将不再推进其“火星计划”（Project Mars）的开发申请。
Goodman said it would not proceed with its Project Mars development application after considering evolving federal and state policy and community feedback.
该公司在声明中指出，自2025年3月开始规划以来，围绕大型人工智能数据中心的政策和监管环境已“发生了显著变化”。
Policy and regulation around large artificial intelligence data centres had “evolved significantly” since planning began in March 2025, the company said in a statement.
