OpenAI is halving the usage included in its $200 ChatGPT Pro plan and launching a $500 plan with its fastest speed tier. It also unveiled shared team workspaces, a meeting note-taker and @ChatGPT for Slack and Microsoft Teams. The launches came at DevDay 2026 in San Francisco on Tuesday, attended by 2,500 developers.

ChatGPT has 1.2 billion weekly users, and over 35 million people build with Work and Codex weekly, the company said.

Space is available on Pro, Business and Enterprise plans on web and desktop. On mobile, users can find, read and share pages, and editing is coming soon.

Users must tell everyone in the meeting and get their consent first, OpenAI’s help page says. The app’s consent reminder is visible only to the user and does not notify others.

Plans and pricing A new Pro 500 plan costs $500 a month and is the only Pro plan with Ultrafast. OpenAI said Ultrafast generates up to 300 tokens per second in Codex, up to eight times faster than standard. Pro 200 is open to newrs again, but with a lower usage allowance than before, OpenAI’s Pro help page says. From 30 October, Pro 200’s included usage in ChatGPT Work and Codex falls from 20 times to 10 times the Plus allowance, OpenAI said.

For businesses, the OpenAI Marketplace lets eligible US enterprise customers put part of their OpenAI spending commitments toward approved software. It launches in beta with 32 partners, including Adobe, Figma, Salesforce and CrowdStrike. OpenAI also introduced Private Intelligence, which lets automated safety reviews run without OpenAI staff seeing the content. A Private Inference preview is due this autumn.
