NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said Thursday that Russia is “testing us across Europe” through airspace violations, arson, sabotage and other hostile actions, but stressed that Moscow is failing to intimidate the alliance.
吕特在德国明斯特与德国总理弗里德里希·默茨及荷兰首相罗布·耶滕举行的联合新闻发布会上表示：“我们看到俄罗斯在欧洲各地试探我们，包括侵犯领空、纵火和破坏活动。”
“We see Russia testing us across Europe, airspace violations, arson, sabotage,” Rutte said at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten in Munster, Germany.
他说：“虽然我们目前看不到针对北约的迫在眉睫的军事攻击，但我们必须做好准备，应对俄罗斯针对盟友的敌对行动持续进行。我们必须保持警惕，保持警觉。”
“While we see no imminent military attack against NATO, we must be prepared for Russia’s campaign of hostile actions against allies to continue. We must all remain vigilant. We must all remain alert,” he said.

Rutte accused the Kremlin of seeking to divide NATO allies and pressure them into reducing their support for Ukraine.

“Our message is clear: keep calm, carry on, and continue the support for Ukraine,” he said.
北约秘书长表示，该联盟有能力保卫“每一寸盟友领土”，并随时准备应对威胁。
The NATO chief said the alliance has the capabilities to defend “every inch of allied territory” and remains prepared to respond to threats.
谈及乌克兰战争时，吕特表示，俄罗斯总统弗拉基米尔·普京正在为这场冲突付出“巨大代价”。
Turning to the war in Ukraine, Rutte said Russian President Vladimir Putin was paying a “huge price” for the conflict.

“Putin is sending 10s of 1000s of young Russians to their death each month, and for nothing. He is failing on the battlefield, and he is failing to intimidate us,” he said.
