Two Japanese companies have reported major data breaches following unauthorized access to their computer systems, potentially exposing information belonging to millions of customers, local media reported Monday.
共同社报道，烤肉连锁餐厅“烧肉King”的运营商Monogatari公司表示，其预订及会员奖励应用遭未经授权访问，导致超过1000万名客户的信息被泄露。泄露的信息包括客户姓名、电子邮箱、电话号码和会员编号。
Monogatari Corp., operator of the Yakiniku King barbecue restaurant chain, said information belonging to more than 10 million customers was leaked after unauthorized access to its reservation and rewards app, according to Kyodo News. The compromised information included customers’ names, email addresses, phone numbers and membership numbers.

The breach was detected Friday, the company said, adding that it had found no evidence so far that the leaked information had been misused.

Separately, Daiwa Securities Group said data belonging to around 110,000 customers of its brokerage unit may have been compromised following unauthorized access to a contractor-operated server, Kyodo reported.

Including inquiries that contained no personal information, around 220,000 pieces of data may have been affected.
