British counter-terrorism police arrested two Latvian men on Thursday near a Royal Air Force base in southeast England that hosts US and NATO intelligence operations. Police said in a statement that an investigation is under way, without detailing a motive.
The arrests follow a separate incident days earlier at another UK base that prompted the US military to withdraw B-1 bomber aircraft stationed there.
