DUBAI, Oct 12 - Several top energy executives were dropped from the schedule of the WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, as Saudi authorities pressed ahead with the event despite deadly attacks on the capital claimed by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis.
埃克森美孚、道达尔能源、壳牌、雪佛龙和英国石油公司的首席执行官原本预计都将出席此次于周日开幕的活动，但已不在会议组织者于周一早些时候发布的议程之上。
The chief executives of ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies, Shell, Chevron and BP had all been expected at the event, which began on Sunday, but were no longer on the agenda that conference organisers released early Monday.

“To everyone who travelled to Riyadh, thank you,” said Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, who opened Monday’s session of the gathering for energy policy and industry.
