British Ambassador to Ankara Jennifer Elizabeth Anderson said her visit to the just-concluded TEKNOFEST festival in southeastern Türkiye was "a great opportunity to witness the creativity and innovative capabilities of Türkiye’s young engineers and scientists.”

On US-based social media platform X, Anderson posted a video praising the southeastern Türkiye edition of TEKNOFEST, the country’s major aerospace and technology festival, which just wrapped up on Sunday.

In the video, Anderson voiced pleasure that the event was held in Sanliurfa, calling it one of her favorite cities, saying she was highly impressed.

Wearing a TEKNOFEST jacket, Anderson said, using an older version of the city’s name: “I hope to return to both Urfa and TEKNOFEST in the coming years. That’s why I’ll be keeping this jacket.”
