MOSCOW, Oct 7 - The Kremlin said on Wednesday that France's test launch of a nuclear-capable missile showed that Europe was building its defence identity around confrontation with Russia, describing the strategy as a "dead end".
周二，法国总统埃马纽埃尔·马克龙对在布列塔尼海岸附近试射潜射弹道导弹一事表示赞赏，称这一举动‘向所有需要听到的人传递了明确的信息’，但并未直接提及俄罗斯。
On Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron hailed the test of the submarine-launched ballistic missile off the coast of Brittany as a message "sent loud and clear for wherever it must be received", without mentioning Russia directly.
此次试射正值乌克兰战争、欧洲安全及核威慑问题引发紧张局势之际。近期，俄罗斯多次警告称，可能会动用核武器来保卫本国及加里宁格勒飞地的安全。
The launch came amid heightened tensions over the war in Ukraine, European security, and nuclear deterrence. Russia has recently renewed warnings that it could use nuclear weapons to defend itself and the exclave of Kaliningrad.
谈及此次试射，克里姆林宫发言人德米特里·佩斯科夫对记者表示，俄罗斯已收到法国发出的信号，并称这是欧洲沉迷于军事化发展的典型例证。
Asked about the test launch, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Russia had received France's message and said it was an example of what he called Europe's obsession with militarisation.

He said Russia remained on alert, but open to dialogue. "We believe that any problems should be resolved not through demonstrative missile launches, but through dialogue," he said.
