She also chaired the UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory and made global headlines in 2025, when the commission released its landmark report concluding that Israel had committed genocide in Gaza.

Former army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas in 2009. He is scheduled to die by firing squad on December 3rd at the same Texas base where he opened fire. This would be the first US military execution since 1961, and the first by firing squad since World War II.

Eight sailors across the carrier strike group attempted suicide during a mission which included combat operations against Iran and thousands of sorties and missile strikes.

She says her husband is still there, surviving on dwindling rations, but she's forbidden him from taking the road, calling it Russian roulette.

Reuters wasn't able to independently verify her account, but her description matches those of other witnesses, officials and aid workers familiar with the humanitarian crisis in Oleshky. Russia has acknowledged serious shortages of food and medical supplies in Oleshky and says its military is working to address them. Moscow blames Ukraine, saying it's blocking supplies from reaching the town. Two men have been arrested after getting inside a Royal Air Force base in England that hosts US personnel and NATO intelligence operations.

Police say the Latvian nationals entered RAF Molesworth through a small breach in perimeter fence. A security patrol later found an abandoned vehicle and arrested them on the base. The incident comes just weeks after authorities uncovered an alleged plot targeting another air base used by the US, RAF Fairford, but police say there's no evidence so far to suggest a link between the two incidents.

And we couldn't find any sources that were kind of trustworthy or based on evidence from any reputable source of any kind of second case.

I think there is a real onus on them to kind of make sure that what they talk about and what they refer to is really bulletproof information. It's a difficult situation, right, where everyone immediately jumps on something and panics. And kind of calming that panic is difficult because if you talk about it, you add more to it, right?
