Ukraine said it attacked Lukoil PJSC’s Ukhta oil-processing plant, the fourth Russian refinery it’s hit so far this week, amid an intensifying exchange of air strikes in a war that’s well into its fifth year.

“We continue to respond to Russia’s attacks on Ukraine and we do so with precision,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a Telegram statement on Friday. Ukraine’s leader confirmed not only the attack on the Ukhta plant but also Thursday’s strike on the Omsk refinery, Russia’s largest.

Earlier this week, Ukrainian drones attacked two of Gazprom PJSC’s processing facilities, the Salavat plant in the Urals region and the Astrakhan gas-processing plant near the Caspian Sea.

Lukoil didn’t immediately respond to a Bloomberg request for a comment on the situation at its Ukhta facility. The plant, with a design capacity of about 80,000 barrels of crude a day, is located some 1,500 kilometers (around 780 miles) northeast of Moscow and was last targeted in February.

Ukraine has intensified strikes on Russian oil assets in a bid to curb the Kremlin’s ability to finance and sustain its war. The attacks have cut Russian output of oil products, triggering shortages and fuel rationing at home, while prompting Moscow to temporarily ban exports of most diesel, jet fuel and gasoline. In the past two days, Ukraine also attacked some of Russia’s key data centers owned by Russian tech giant Yandex.

Russia has maintained round-the-clock assaults on Ukraine’s civil infrastructure, hitting residential areas and data centers, as well as disrupting operations at Black Sea grain-export facilities and causing power cuts.

Earlier this week, Moscow said it would intensify such attacks after Zelenskyy vowed to double down on strikes against oil refineries. His threat followed an earlier warning from Russia that foreign diplomats and officials in Kyiv faced “mortal danger.”Combined design capacity of the four Russian refineries attacked by Ukraine so far this week reached some 720,000 barrels of crude per day and as much as 12 billion cubic meters of gas per year, according to Bloomberg calculations based on public data. While not all of this capacity will go offline as a result of the strikes, the scale of this week’s attacks may put pressure on the nation’s total refinery runs in the next weeks.
