REUTERS/Annegret Hilse Oct 12 - Germany's regulator said on Monday that DHL's Deutsche Post may increase letter prices, given a sharp decline in the volume of letters, and offered its proposal for postage rate increases.

Deutsche Post may increase letter prices by 20.35% and prices for private customer parcels by 10.72%, the Federal Network Agency said.
该机构称，其批准的涨幅低于德国邮政申请的调整幅度，且未计入公司声称的增值成本和间接成本上涨。该机构表示，新费率拟于2027年和2028年生效。
The agency said it has remained below Deutsche Post's requested adjustments and has not taken into account rising value-added and overhead costs claimed by the company. It said the new rates are intended to apply in the years 2027 and 2028.
德国邮政、竞争对手、消费者保护组织及其他利益相关方可于10月30日前就拟议决定提交意见。最终决定预计将于11月公布。
Deutsche Post, competitors, consumer protection organisations and other interested parties may submit comments on the proposed decision by October 30. The final decision is expected to be published in November.
