Eight people living in the Kentucky home were arrested in a sweeping child abuse and sexual abuse case involving seven victims, ages 1 to 17, officials said Wednesday. The suspects face a slew of charges, including abuse, incest, human trafficking and rape. Bail has been set between $50,000 and $125,000, Richmond police spokesperson Makenzie Gould said in a statement to NBC News. All eight defendants are scheduled to appear before a Madison County judge on Oct. 21.

The arrests followed a joint investigation by Richmond police, Child Protective Services and the Department for Community Based Services, according to a police statement. “I’m unsure of the exact family relations between all eight members,” Gould said. “All are listed as living at the same residence.
