After months of door-knocking, sign-raising and online debating, it’s the final weekend of campaigning in Alberta before the Oct. 19 referendum.

On Monday, Albertans will vote on 10 questions. Question 10 asks whether voters support Option 1: to remain in Canada, or Option 2: to hold a second, binding referendum on separation. The nine other questions focus on immigration and the Constitution. Already, hundreds of thousands have cast their ballots in advance polls and via special ballots.

Premier Danielle Smith says she cast her ballot for Option 1. She told CBC Radio’s Calgary EyeopenerThursday that she will spend time this weekend door-knocking in four different communities to encourage the same.

Former Alberta premier Ed Stelmach is also set to attend.
