China's industrial production and retail sales rose more than expected in September, official data showed Monday.
国家统计局（NBS）称，工业产出同比增长5.5%，高于市场预期的5.4%，并较8月的5.2%加快。
Industrial output increased 5.5% year-on-year, exceeding market expectations of 5.4% and accelerating from 5.2% in August, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
产出环比增长0.61%，使今年前九个月的增长率达到5.3%。
Production rose 0.61% month-on-month, bringing growth in the first nine months of the year to 5.3%.
9月制造业产出同比增长6%，矿业产出增长1.3%。电力、供热、燃气和自来水的产供增长5.6%。
Manufacturing output increased 6% annually in September, while mining production grew 1.3%. Output in electricity, heating, gas and water production and supply climbed 5.6%.
计算机、通信及其他电子设备制造业扩张16.4%，专用机械生产增长12.1%。
Computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing expanded 16.4%, while special-purpose machinery production grew 12.1%.
汽车制造产出增长6.7%。新能源车产量上升16.9%至187万台，尽管整体汽车产量下降5.7%至306万台。
Automobile manufacturing output increased 6.7%. New energy vehicle production rose 16.9% to 1.87 million units, although overall vehicle production fell 5.7% to 3.06 million units.
与此同时，9月零售销售同比增长1.1%，高于预期的0.5%，并较8月的0.4%加快。
Meanwhile, retail sales increased 1.1% year-on-year in September, exceeding expectations of 0.5% growth and accelerating from 0.4% in August.
销售额总计4.24万亿元，环比增长0.35%。剔除汽车后，零售销售同比增长3.9%，至3.88万亿元（约5800亿美元）。
Sales totaled 4.24 trillion yuan, up 0.35% month-on-month. Excluding automobiles, retail sales grew 3.9% annually to 3.88 trillion yuan ($580 billion).
今年1至9月，零售销售达到37万亿元，同比增长1.1%。商品销售增长1%，餐饮收入上升2.4%。
In January-September, retail sales reached 37 trillion yuan, up 1.1% from the same period last year. Goods sales increased 1%, while catering revenue rose 2.4%.
