South Korea said Thursday it plans to approach the UN Security Council over landmine explosions that injured three soldiers near the inter-Korean border last month, as North Korea issued fresh warnings against Seoul.
据韩联社报道，首尔将向安理会轮值主席国致函，要求平壤就9月21日在非军事区（DMZ）发生的爆炸事件道歉并承担责任。
Seoul will send a letter to the Security Council president demanding an apology and accountability from Pyongyang over the Sept. 21 explosions in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), Yonhap News Agency reported.
韩国外交部发言人朴斗淳表示，该函件还将呼吁通过对话防止局势进一步升级。
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Park Doo-soon said the letter would also call for dialogue to prevent further escalation.
韩国军方与联合国军司令部的联合调查结论认定，朝鲜在军事分界线以南埋设地雷，违反了1953年停战协定。
A joint investigation by South Korea’s military and the UN Command concluded that North Korean mines planted south of the Military Demarcation Line violated the 1953 armistice.
与此同时，朝鲜领导人金正恩的妹妹金与正指责首尔捏造指控，并干涉平壤的边境工事建设。
Meanwhile, Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, accused Seoul of fabricating allegations and interfering with Pyongyang’s border fortifications.
“我们不是在进行‘挑衅’，而是在采取正义的反制行动，”她在朝中社（KCNA）发表的声明中说。
“We are not committing a ‘provocation’ but taking just reaction,” she said in a statement carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
金与正警告称，朝鲜将在其南部边境部署新的反应能力并进入警戒状态，并准备针对韩国的扩音器。
Kim warned that North Korea would place new response capabilities on alert along its southern border and prepare loudspeakers targeting South Korea.

Tensions on the Korean Peninsula have escalated since last month, when three South Korean soldiers were wounded in an explosion inside the DMZ. Seoul has blamed Pyongyang, which rejected the accusations.
