Germany's Verdi labour union on Friday said that it was calling warning strikes in the private banking sector as it negotiates with employers for a pay increase. Verdi said the strikes would be in the coming weeks and across the country.
工会表示，此举旨在增加对雇主的压力，第二轮工资谈判定于11月2日举行。威尔迪工会要求在为期12个月的协议中实现6%的工资增长。
It said that it was trying to increase pressure on employers ahead of a second round of wage talks scheduled for November 2. Verdi wants a 6% wage increase for a deal covering 12 months.

"Those who contribute to the banking industry's success every day are rightly expecting their fair share," said Jan Duscheck, Verdi's chief negotiator.
银行业雇主协会AGV Banken未立即回应置评请求，但此前曾拒绝工会的要求，称其过高。
The bank employers' association AGV Banken didn't immediately respond to a request for comment but has previously rejected the union's demands as too high.
