China’s Ministry of Commerce has drafted special rules to protect the country’s trade secrets and is seeking public feedback on the proposed strictures, the ministry said on Monday.
商务部在拟议的文件中表示，这些规则适用于“境外实体在开展国际经贸及相关活动中，实施侵害中国商业秘密的行为”，且这些行为危及或对“中国的国家主权、安全和发展利益”构成现实威胁。
In the draft document, the ministry said the rules apply “where a foreign entity engages in acts infringing upon Chinese trade secrets in the course of international economic, trade and related activities” and those acts endanger or pose a real threat to “China’s national sovereignty, security and development interests”.
