Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Friday to discuss cooperation and regional issues, according to the US State Department.

The two officials exchanged views on cooperation on several regional matters, including developments in Iran, Sudan and Yemen, it said in a statement.
