Chengyu, the former chairman of China Petrochemical Corp., is under investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and law, China’s top anti-graft agency said Saturday.
根据该机构网站上的一份声明，傅成玉正接受中央纪委国家监委的纪律审查和监察调查。
Fu is undergoing a disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, according to a statement on the agency’s website.
傅成玉出生于1951年，是中国石油行业的资深人士，曾领导中国海洋石油总公司，并于2011年出任中石化集团董事长兼党组书记。他于2015年5月达到退休年龄后卸任中石化职务。
Fu Chengyu, born in 1951, is a veteran of China’s oil industry who led China National Offshore Oil Corporation before becoming chairman and Communist Party chief of Sinopec Group in 2011. He departed Sinopec in May 2015 after reaching retirement age.
