Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said the situation surrounding Iran, which she described as having been subjected to unprovoked aggression by the US and Israel, remained “complex.”“The conflict remains unresolved; it resonates with and is intertwined with other crises unfolding across the Middle East,” she said.

Zakharova stressed the need to intensify diplomatic efforts to normalize the situation and expressed support for mediators working to advance negotiations.
