Second Quarter ResultsBharat Electronics reported a 19.8% year-on-year rise in standalone profit after tax to ₹1,541 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, beating market expectations. The company had posted a standalone net profit of ₹1,286 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. A CNBC-TV18 poll of analysts had projected the PSU major's second-quarter net profit at ₹1,380 crore.
