HONG KONG -- Chinese auto giant Geely Holding Group will acquire a 30% stake in peer Nio's battery-swapping unit Nio Power.
根据交易条款，吉利将投入6.4亿元（9500万美元）现金，并以其旗下商用车换电子公司驿易能源的资产入局。蔚来周一表示。
Under the deal, Geely will transfer 640 million yuan ($95 million) in cash along with its own commercial battery-swapping subsidiary, Yiyi Power, Nio said on Monday.
驿易能源的商用车队业务将并入蔚来能源。双方将共同开发乘用车换电技术和标准，其中吉利负责生产可换电乘用车，蔚来能源负责运营换电网络。
Yiyi Power's commercial-fleet business will be integrated into Nio Power. The companies will jointly develop battery swapping technologies and standards for consumer vehicles, with Geely producing battery-swappable consumer vehicles and Nio Power operating the swapping network.
蔚来能源计划到2030年建成1万座换电站，届时全网年用电量预计将超过100亿千瓦时。
Nio Power aims to have 10,000 battery swap stations by 2030, with annual electricity demand across the network expected to exceed 10 billion kilowatt-hours.
交易须获得监管批准并满足其他惯常交割条件。交易完成后，蔚来中国将继续控制蔚来能源，持股比例为63.6%。现有投资者武汉光创新兴产业一期创业投资合伙企业将持有其余6.4%的股份。
The transactions are subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Upon completion, Nio China will retain control of Nio Power with a 63.6% stake. An existing investor, Wuhan Guangchuang Emerging Technology Phase I Venture Capital Fund Partnership, will hold the remaining 6.4%.
根据另一项协议，蔚来将收购吉利旗下智能充电子公司浩瀚能源10%的股权。双方将全面整合各自的充电网络，以扩大覆盖范围并提高运营效率。
In a separate agreement, Nio will acquire a 10% stake in Haohan Energy, Geely's smart-charging subsidiary. The companies will fully integrate their charging networks to broaden coverage and improve efficiency.
吉利计划到2027年底前建成超过2.2万座充电站，配备超过10万个充电连接器，其中包括1.5万多座智能充电站。其目标是成为首家实现中国县级市全面覆盖的充电运营商。
Geely plans to build more than 22,000 charging stations with over 100,000 connectors by the end of 2027, including more than 15,000 smart stations. It aims to become the first operator to provide full coverage across China's county-level cities.

The companies have deepened their ties since forming a battery-swapping partnership in November 2023, which they expanded to include charging-network connectivity in March 2024. Nio Power has also attracted outside capital, raising 1.5 billion yuan in a strategic round led by the Wuhan Guangchuang fund in May 2024.
