Gizem Nisa Çebi Demir, Necva Taştan Sevinç Türkiye on Thursday strongly condemned an attack by Yemen’s Houthi group on civilian infrastructure serving the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia.
土耳其外交部在一份声明中表示：“我们强烈谴责胡塞武装袭击为麦地那先知寺提供服务的民用基础设施。”
“We strongly condemn the Houthis’ attack on civilian infrastructure serving the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“这些挑衅性的袭击威胁沙特阿拉伯的主权和安全，并针对伊斯兰世界的神圣价值，必须立即且无条件地停止。”该部补充说。
“These provocative attacks, which threaten Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and security and target the sacred values of the Islamic world, must end immediately and unconditionally,” it added.
该部还重申土耳其对沙特阿拉伯的支持，并呼吁在地区紧张局势之际保持克制。
The ministry also reiterated Türkiye’s support for Saudi Arabia and urged restraint amid regional tensions.
“我们重申对沙特阿拉伯的坚定支持，并强调必须避免采取会进一步加剧地区紧张局势的行动。”声明说。
“We reiterate our strong support for Saudi Arabia and emphasize the need to avoid steps that would further escalate tensions in the region,” it said.
