据北京方面周四宣布，法国总统埃马纽埃尔·马克龙的外交顾问埃马纽埃尔·博内将对中国进行为期五天的访问，双方将举行战略对话。与此同时，中国和欧盟官员也正在就贸易紧张局势展开会谈。
French President Emmanuel Macron’s diplomatic adviser Emmanuel Bonne will pay a five-day visit to China for strategic talks, Beijing announced Thursday, as Chinese and European Union officials hold talks over trade tensions.
中国外交部发言人毛宁向记者透露，中国外交部长王毅将与博内举行对话。她表示，这位法国外交顾问定于周五抵达中国。
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will lead the dialogue with Bonne, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning told reporters in Beijing, adding that the French diplomatic adviser is scheduled to arrive in China on Friday.
毛宁指出，中方希望借此机会“加强与法方在双边及多边事务上的协调，推动中法关系和中欧关系稳步发展”。她还强调，通过对话解决分歧符合中国和欧盟的共同利益。
Mao said China expects to “strengthen coordination with France on bilateral and multilateral issues and promote steady development of China-France and China-EU relations.”She said resolving differences through dialogue serves the common interests of China and the EU.
此次访问正值中国商务部部长王文涛与欧盟贸易和经济安全事务专员马罗什·谢夫乔维奇于周四和周五在北京举行会谈之际。
The announcement coincides with talks between Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao and Maros Sefcovic, the European Union’s commissioner for trade and economic security, in Beijing on Thursday and Friday.
谢夫乔维奇此次访华旨在探讨如何解决欧盟对华贸易逆差问题——目前这一逆差额每日超过10亿欧元（约合11.2亿美元），同时也会涉及市场准入及贸易限制措施等议题。
Sefcovic is in Beijing for discussions aimed at addressing the EU’s trade deficit with China, which exceeds €1 billion ($1.12 billion) a day, as well as market access and trade restrictions.
此前，法德两国曾敦促欧盟委员会制定新的贸易应对举措，指出现有措施已不足以应对日益严峻的经济挑战。
France and Germany earlier urged the European Commission to develop new trade instruments, warning that existing measures were insufficient to address growing economic challenges.
对此中方回应称，中国与欧盟27个成员国之间的经贸联系“高度融合且相互依存”，呼吁双方通过对话化解分歧。
China responded that its trade relationship with the 27-member bloc remained “highly integrated and mutually dependent,” calling for differences to be resolved through dialogue.
此外北京方面还宣布，应李克强总理邀请，多哥总理福雷·埃索齐姆纳·纳辛贝将于10月9日至16日对中国进行正式访问。
Beijing also announced that Togo’s President of the Council of Ministers Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe will pay an official visit to China from Oct. 9 to 16 at Premier Li Qiang’s invitation.
