Finance Minister Roland Lescure said the bond market is working properly and that France doesn’t need a “hand of god” intervention after the premium investors demand to hold its debt soared in recent weeks.

“We’re not in a dysfunctioning market,” he said at a fireside chat at the London School of Economics on Thursday.
