Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said Friday that a liquefied petroleum gas carrier was struck and caught fire while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz via an "illegal route."
据半官方的塔斯尼姆通讯社援引革命卫队的声明称：“一艘属于Natwit公司、名为NV Sunshine的巨型液化石油气运输船，在试图通过霍尔木兹海峡南部的非法航线时遭到袭击，其机舱和推进系统发生大火。”声明指责“侵略性的美国军队”加剧了地区海上运输的紧张局势。
"A giant ship carrying LPG gas called NV Sunshine belonging to the Natwit company, which was trying to cross the illegal route south of the Strait of Hormuz, was hit and suffered a massive fire in the engine room and propulsion system," the IRGC said in a statement carried by the semi-official Tasnim news agency. The statement blamed "the aggressor American army" for escalating tensions in regional maritime transport.
革命卫队还表示，其海军部队不会允许“入侵势力”留在该地区，并将反击“任何敌人破坏其管理的企图”。
The Revolutionary Guard also said its naval forces would not allow "invading forces" to remain in the area and would counter "any enemy attempts to disrupt its management."
