All 22 Indian crew members aboard the vessel MT GEM No. 2 were "rescued and are safe" following an incident off the UAE coast, India’s Consulate General in Dubai announced Sunday.
“领事馆获悉，船舶MT GEM No. 2号在拉斯海马海岸附近发生事件，船上有22名印度船员。
"The Consulate has learnt of an incident involving vessel MT GEM No. 2 off Ras Al Khaimah coast, that had 22 Indian crew members on board.
‘所有船员均已获救并安全，’领事馆在美国社交媒体平台上表示。领事馆补充称，正在与阿联酋当局协调，并为印度海员提供一切可能的帮助。目前尚未公布事件的更多细节。
"All crew members have been rescued and are safe," the consulate said on US social media company The consulate added that it is coordinating with UAE authorities and providing all possible assistance to the Indian seafarers. No further details have been released regarding the incident.
