Türkiye on Friday welcomed new appointments to the Iraqi Cabinet following a vote of confidence in the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
“我们欢迎伊拉克内阁在10月15日伊拉克议会信任投票后的新任命，并祝愿在总理阿里·扎伊迪领导下的伊拉克政府取得成功，”外交部在一份声明中表示。
“We welcome the new appointments to the Iraqi Cabinet following the vote of confidence held on 15 October in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, and extend our best wishes for success to the Iraqi Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said Ankara is confident that the development will further accelerate bilateral cooperation, particularly on the Development Road Project, as well as in the fields of energy, water, infrastructure, and security.

It also welcomed the appointment of Mehmet Seman Agaoglu, governor of Kirkuk and chairman of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, as minister of state in the new Cabinet.
