土耳其外长哈坎·菲丹周六在巴格达会晤后赞扬了伊拉克总理阿里·扎伊迪在加强双边关系方面的“强有力的愿景”。
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Saturday praised Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi's "strong vision" for strengthening bilateral relations following talks in Baghdad on Saturday.
“扎伊迪先生对推动与土耳其的关系有着非常强有力的愿景。我们也在伊拉克的政策中看到这一愿景所带来的积极和建设性的影响，”菲丹对记者说。
"Mr. al-Zaidi has a very strong vision for advancing relations with Türkiye. We are also seeing the positive and constructive impact of this vision in Iraq's policies," Fidan told reporters.
两人在伊斯兰合作组织（OIC）外长理事会第52届会议期间会晤。
The two met on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
菲丹表示，扎伊迪展示了改善双边关系的强烈承诺，并采取实际步骤应对伊拉克面临的挑战。
Fidan said al-Zaidi has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving bilateral relations and taking practical steps to address Iraq's challenges.
他说，与伊拉克官员的讨论涵盖能源、互联互通、发展道路项目、安全与防务合作、反恐以及辛贾尔的局势。
He said discussions with Iraqi officials covered energy, connectivity, the Development Road Project, security and defense cooperation, counterterrorism and the situation in Sinjar.
菲丹重申土耳其支持伊拉克政府的建设性政策，并表示双方共享将双边关系提升至前所未有水平的愿景。
Fidan reaffirmed Türkiye's support for the Iraqi government's constructive policies and said both sides shared a vision of taking bilateral relations to an unprecedented level.
他补充说，安卡拉将为克服近期历史所带来的困难作出贡献，这些困难尤其影响了伊拉克社会。
He added that Ankara would contribute to overcoming difficulties stemming from recent history that had particularly affected Iraqi society.
“希望该地区的其他问题也能在不久的将来通过对话和和平手段得到解决，为伊拉克创造更有利的环境，并帮助该地区朝着更加和平的氛围发展，”他说。
"Hopefully, other problems in the region will also be resolved through dialogue and peaceful means in the near future, creating a more favorable environment for Iraq and helping the region evolve toward a more peaceful atmosphere," he said.

OIC meeting addresses Palestine, regional challenges Fidan said he also met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty before the OIC ministerial meeting.

He said Türkiye had handed over the rotating chairmanship of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers to Iraq after holding the position for 18 months.

Fidan also met with Iraqi President Nizar Amedi, conveyed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's greetings and congratulated Amedi on assuming office.

"This was our first face-to-face meeting since he assumed his new position. He was a statesman we already knew," Fidan said.

He said that Türkiye has long monitored challenges facing Iraq's Turkmen community.
