A National Guard member was shot in the leg on Sunday night, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Interim Police Chief Jeffery Carroll said early on Monday. The suspect was also shot, he noted. "So both have gunshot wounds," he said, "the National Guard member and the suspect."
