Türkiye and Canada signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen export credit cooperation and support joint projects in third-country markets, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat said Friday.
该协议由土耳其出口信贷银行与加拿大出口发展公司（EDC）签署，此前博拉特在伊斯坦布尔会见了加拿大外交部长阿尼塔·阿南德。
The agreement between Turk Eximbank and Export Development Canada (EDC) followed Bolat's meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand in Istanbul.
博拉特在土耳其社交媒体平台NSosyal发布声明称，双方讨论了扩大双边贸易和经济关系，以及土耳其-加拿大自由贸易协定谈判事宜。
In a statement on Turkish social media platform NSosyal, Bolat said the two discussed expanding bilateral trade and economic relations, alongside negotiations on a Türkiye-Canada free trade agreement.

The memorandum aims to support Turkish and Canadian companies in developing joint projects in third-country markets, particularly in Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, and Central Asia.
