Bank of England to consult on tokenised collateral LONDON, Oct 29 - The Bank of England said on Thursday it was launching a consultation on the requirements central counterparties need to meet to accept tokenised collateral, which could make it easier to meet margin calls and manage collateral more broadly.

"The Bank considers the existing regulatory framework is not a barrier for CCPs accepting tokenised forms of eligible collateral, provided the collateral meets the standards required in central clearing," the BoE said.
