Europe will not face a gas shortage this winter, it will simply be forced to pay more to ensure sufficient supply, TotalEnergies (TTEF.PA) CEO Patrick Pouyanne said on Monday.
普亚内在道达尔能源能源需求展望简报会上表示：“天然气短缺的说法是错误的。”他补充说，市场此前曾押注伊朗战争将在夏季结束，欧洲直到现在才意识到其天然气储存需求。
"The idea of a gas shortage is wrong," Pouyanne said, speaking at a briefing on TotalEnergies' energy demand outlook, adding that Europe was only waking up to its gas storage needs after markets had bet on the Iran war ending in the summer.
