Several hundred people took to the streets Wednesday in Berlin to support Palestinian rights, three years after the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, according to media reports.

Demonstrators, among them Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, demanded an end to the war in Gaza, accountability for Israeli war crimes and an end to German arms deliveries to Israel.

The crowd, consisting mainly of young men and women, gathered in the Kreuzberg district, waving Palestinian flags and holding banners in support of Palestinians. They also chanted: “Viva, viva Palestine” and “Free, free Palestine.”A large poster read: “One genocide does not justify another.”
