The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said Wednesday that 1,275 people fled several villages in Sudan’s southeastern Blue Nile state in a single day amid deteriorating security conditions.
联合国机构称，实地团队估计这起流离失所事件发生于周二的瓦德马希（Wad al-Mahi）地区。
The UN agency said field teams estimated that the displacement occurred Tuesday in the Wad al-Mahi locality.
受影响的村庄包括阿米里（Amiri）、贾巴尔尼姆尔（Jabal Nimr）、阿布卡达夫（Abu Qadaf）、巴什卡卡特（Bashkarkat）、阿布詹库尔（Ab Jankour）、马克拉（Makla）、马坦吉亚（Matangiya）、贾巴尔努尔（Jabal al-Nour）、门扎（Menza）和曼希林（Manshiling）。
The affected villages included Amiri, Jabal Nimr, Abu Qadaf, Bashkarkat, Ab Jankour, Makla, Matangiya, Jabal al-Nour, Menza and Manshiling.

Displaced residents moved to locations in the Roseires locality in Blue Nile state, following another incident reported Monday, according to the agency.
国际移民组织表示，局势依然紧张且极不稳定，并补充说该组织正继续密切关注事态发展。
The situation remains tense and highly volatile, said IOM, adding that it continues to monitor developments closely.

The latest figures bring the number displaced from villages in Wad al-Mahi to 6,800 during the last four days, it said.

On Sept. 13, IOM reported that 99,277 people, representing 19,497 households, had been displaced in Blue Nile state between Jan. 11 and Aug. 23.

Sudan’s humanitarian crisis has deepened since a war erupted between the army and the RSF in April 2023 because of a dispute concerning the unification of the military. The war has killed tens of thousands of people and displaced 13 million.
