法国外交部周四在地区安全局势加剧之际表示，法国愿意以“严格防御”的身份帮助保护沙特阿拉伯的能源基础设施。
France is willing to help protect Saudi Arabia's energy infrastructure in a “strictly defensive” capacity, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday amid heightened regional security tensions.
“面对这些袭击，我们向沙特阿拉伯保证我们的全力声援，”一位外交部发言人说。
“We assure Saudi Arabia of our full solidarity in the face of these attacks,” a ministry spokesperson said.
这位发言人表示，法国愿意参与保护能源基础设施，特别是延布（Yanbu）和东西管道（East-West pipeline）的设施。
The spokesperson said France was willing to participate in protecting energy infrastructure, particularly facilities in Yanbu and the East-West pipeline.

此前，也门胡塞武装周一警告各大航空公司，沙特领空可能成为“军事行动剧场”。沙特阿拉伯周三报告称，针对其机场（包括首都利雅得的一个机场）的袭击造成三人死亡。
The remarks came after Houthis in Yemen warned airlines Monday that Saudi airspace could become a “theater of military operations.”Saudi Arabia reported three deaths Wednesday in attacks targeting its airports, including one in the capital Riyadh.

On the Strait of Hormuz, the ministry said the international community had a collective interest in restoring maritime traffic and upholding international law.

France is also participating in the EU's Aspides maritime security operation in the region, the spokesperson said, without disclosing the French assets involved.

“France is participating, with assets that it is not for me to comment on, in the Aspides operation,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said France had supported the mission since its launch in February 2024 and would continue to support its implementation and any possible evolution depending on regional security conditions.
