China and the European Union held "intensive consultations" on the trade of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as efforts to balance economic and trade concerns, the commerce ministry said on Monday.
双方同意，分配给中国的混合动力汽车出口配额不得低于其他进口来源的配额，且欧盟措施不得专门针对中国产品或歧视中国企业。
On hybrid vehicles, both sides agreed that the export quota given to China would not be lower than quotas allocated to other imports sources, and that EU measures must not specifically target the country's products or discriminate against its firms.
双方还同意上调2025年混合动力汽车出口额度，以确保中国企业获得机遇和实现稳定增长。
Both also agreed on an upward adjustment of the 2025 hybrid vehicle export figure to ensure opportunities and stable growth for Chinese enterprises, the ministry added in its statement.
