Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said on Saturday that his country will hold US-backed trilateral meetings with Israel in Tampa, US state of Florida, on Oct. 20.
他在总统府发布的美国社交媒体平台X的声明中表示，军事代表团将参加会谈，提出贝鲁特结束以色列升级的诉求，并争取“符合框架协议”的成果。奥恩的讲话是在接待由法国外交部长让-诺埃尔·巴罗率领的法国代表团时发表的。
In a statement released by the presidency on US social media platform X, Aoun said a military delegation will attend the meeting to present Beirut’s demands for an end to Israeli escalation, and aiming to secure "outcomes consistent with the framework agreement." Aoun's remarks came as he received a French delegation headed by Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
他表示，黎巴嫩寻求延长联合国驻黎巴嫩临时部队（UNIFIL）的任务授权，并欢迎任何确保在该国南部持续国际存在以防止真空的安排。
Lebanon seeks to extend UNIFIL’s mandate and welcomes any arrangement that ensures a continued international presence in the country’s south to prevent power vacuum, he said.
声明称，巴罗表达了法国对黎巴嫩的团结及其在各个领域的持续支持，并重申了动员资源以应对该阿拉伯国家紧急人道需求的准备。
Barrot expressed French solidarity with Lebanon and its continued support across all sectors, the statement said, adding that he also reaffirmed readiness to mobilize resources to address urgent humanitarian needs in the Arab country.

Israel began its deadly attacks in southern Lebanon in early March, and has continued the bombing unabated despite a US-sponsored framework agreement in June paving the way for Israeli withdrawal and the disarmament of Hezbollah.
