Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will attend the COP31 climate summit in Antalya, Turkey, the Brazilian presidency said on Friday. The confirmation came shortly after Lula was re-elected president of Brazil, last Sunday.
卢拉计划于11月10日抵达安塔利亚，出席11月11日至12日在联合国年度气候谈判期间举行的领导人峰会。11月13日，他将前往菲律宾出席东盟峰会，这是他连续第二年受邀参加。
Lula is scheduled to arrive in Antalya on Nov. 10 for the Nov 11-12 leaders' summit at the annual UN climate negotiations. On Nov. 13, he will travel to the Philippines for the ASEAN summit, which he was invited to attend for the second consecutive year.
卢拉将把COP主席国职责移交给土耳其。根据与澳大利亚达成的共同安排，土耳其将在未来一年内主持该会议，澳大利亚则负责协调外交谈判。
Lula will hand over the COP presidency to Turkey, which will oversee the conference over the next year under a shared arrangement with Australia, which is coordinating the diplomatic negotiations.

So far, 77 heads of state and government have confirmed their participation in the summit. In addition to Brazil, United Kingdom Prime Minister Andy Burnham said he would attend.
