Brig. Gen. Mohammad Akraminia, spokesperson for the Iranian army, said Saturday that renewed war would “engulf a much wider area” if US President Donald Trump “resorts to another adventure in the region” alongside Israel.
“如果美国总统在犹太复国主义者的施压和诱导下，再次在该地区发动另一场军事冒险，战火无疑将吞噬大得多的地理区域，”阿克拉米尼亚在美国社交媒体公司X上写道。“而冲突的结局将不掌握在他（特朗普）手中，”他警告说。
“If the US president once again embarks on another military adventure in the region under pressure from and inducement by the Zionists, the flames of war will undoubtedly engulf a much wider geographical area,” Akraminia wrote on US social media company“And the end of the conflict will not be in his (Trump’s) hands,” he warned.
阿克拉米尼亚援引“美国总统背弃外交的记录”，称伊朗军队正“持续”提升战备状态，并“密切监视”美军在该地区的动向。
Citing “the US President’s track record of betraying diplomacy,” Akraminia said the Iranian army is “continuously” enhancing its combat readiness and “closely monitoring” US movements in the region.

His remarks came as tensions in the Middle East remained high after the US and Israel launched attacks against Iran on Feb. 28, triggering Iranian retaliation in the region.
