Footage showed the moment the aircraft, a Learjet 60 business jet, nose-dived from the sky and crashed into the ground about six miles from Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s Florida residence.

A statement issued by Sean Duffy, the US transport secretary, said that all nine people on board were killed when the plane crashed in a neighbourhood near Cresthaven at 12.50pm Eastern time (5.50pm GMT) on Sunday.
