The Israeli army on Saturday shelled a village in southern Syria and later opened fire on residential areas during a separate ground incursion, Alikhbaria TV reported. Israeli artillery struck the outskirts of Abidin village in western Daraa province. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
