Army spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia made the remarks in an interview with Fars news agency on Sunday, as tensions remain high between Iran and the United States amid the latter’s acts of mischief in the region and its rejection of diplomacy.
阿克拉米尼亚指出，在近期美国与以色列非法对伊朗发动战争后，陆军决定提升导弹的射程，目前相关工作已着手实施。
Akraminia said that following the recent illegal US-Israeli war on Iran, the Army decided to improve the range of its missiles, and it has now taken steps in that direction.
他补充道：“我们在战争中使用的导弹表现十分出色且成效显著——尤其是陆军部队用来打击科威特境内敌方基地的导弹，以及海军发射用以摧毁敌方舰船的巡航导弹。”
“The missiles we used during the war—particularly the Ground Force’s missiles that targeted enemy bases in Kuwait, and the Navy’s sea-launched cruise missiles that struck enemy vessels—performed very well and proved effective,” he added.
“不过我们认定，必须进一步提升这些导弹的速度与射程，因为当前敌方活动范围已延伸至距我国海岸1000公里之遥。如蒙真主保佑，我们也会对这些导弹实施升级。”阿克拉米尼亚还强调，此次升级计划涵盖陆军所属的所有导弹。
“However, we concluded that we need to improve the speed and range of these missiles, as the enemy is now operating farther from our shores, at distances of up to 1,000 kilometers. God willing, we will upgrade these missiles as well.”Akraminia also emphasized that the upgrades would apply to all of the Army’s missiles.
