Germany on Friday condemned recent attacks on Saudi Arabia by the Houthi group in Yemen, saying the kingdom has the right to defend its territory and protect its people.
德国外交部在社交媒体发布声明称：“我们强烈谴责胡塞武装近期对沙特发动的袭击。”
“We strongly condemn the recent Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia,” the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on social media.
该部门还指出：“沙特阿拉伯有权采取必要措施，保护本国领土及人民免受恐怖袭击侵害。”
“Saudi Arabia has the right to defend its territory and protect its people against these acts of terror,” the ministry added.
声明强调，德国全力支持沙特阿拉伯，并敦促胡塞武装“立即停止一切袭击行动”。此番表态正值胡塞武装再度发起跨境袭击之际。据沙特方面通报，周四有两名袭击目标直指利雅得哈利德国王国际机场，导致三名平民不幸遇难。
It said Germany stands “in full solidarity” with Saudi Arabia and called on the Houthis “to immediately cease all attacks.”The statement followed a fresh wave of Houthi cross-border strikes. Saudi Arabia said Friday that three citizens were killed in two attacks on Thursday targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
