SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Tuesday (Oct 13) advised Singaporeans to defer all travel to Saudi Arabia.
外交部在周二发布的旅行警示中表示，自2026年7月以来，沙特阿拉伯出现了针对民用航空和能源基础设施的导弹和无人机袭击增加的情况。
Since July 2026, Saudi Arabia has experienced an increase in missile and drone attacks targeting civilian aviation and energy infrastructure, said MFA in a travel advisory on Tuesday.
过去几周，利雅得、阿卜哈、达曼、哈米斯穆舍特、纳季兰和吉赞的机场均遭到袭击，而利雅得哈立德国王国际机场（KKIA）近期反复遭到袭击，导致机场运营暂停和航班转移。
Over the past weeks, airports in Riyadh, Abha, Dammam, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jizan have been hit, while recent repeated attacks on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) led to airport operation suspensions and flight diversions.

Given the heightened security risks, Singaporeans are advised to defer all travel to Saudi Arabia, said MFA.
外交部补充称：“目前身处沙特阿拉伯的新加坡公民应在另行通知前避免前往KKIA及其他高风险地区，并避免在王国内进行非必要旅行。”
“Singaporeans already in Saudi Arabia should avoid all travel to KKIA and other high-risk areas until further notice and avoid non-essential travel within the kingdom,” the ministry added.
外交部表示，新加坡公民应继续密切关注当地新闻，并遵循当地当局的指示。
MFA said Singaporeans should continue to monitor local news closely and follow the instructions of local authorities.
对于已预订前往或途经沙特阿拉伯航班的人员，外交部鼓励其向航空公司咨询最新旅行信息，确认出行当天的航班，并在出行前购买旅行保险。
Those who have booked a flight to or are transiting in Saudi Arabia, are encouraged to check with airlines for the latest travel information, confirm their flight on the day of travel and purchase travel insurance before their trip.
外交部表示：“必须前往沙特阿拉伯或目前身处中东的新加坡公民应做好应对短时通知导致旅行中断的准备。”
“Singaporeans who must travel to Saudi Arabia or who are currently in the Middle East must be prepared for travel disruptions at short notice,” said the ministry.
外交部还“强烈建议”公民向该部门进行电子登记（eRegister），以便在需要时能够与他们取得联系。
It also “strongly encouraged” citizens to eRegister with the ministry so it can contact them when the need arises.
外交部补充称：“需要领事协助的人士可联系利雅得新加坡大使馆、吉达新加坡总领事馆或新加坡外交部值班办公室。”
“Those who require consular assistance may contact the Singapore Embassy in Riyadh, the Singapore Consulate-General in Jeddah, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Duty Office,” added MFA.

In its last advisory for Saudi Arabia in April, the ministry had advised Singaporeans to defer all travel to the kingdom except for Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah. RECENT ATTACKS King Khalid International Airport was shut after a deadly missile strike on Saturday that killed 13 people and wounded more than 300. The attack, the deadliest in the kingdom in more than a decade, was claimed by Yemen's Iran-allied Houthis. On Sunday, another attack killed one person and injured nearly a dozen others.
