Sudan accused Ethiopia of allowing its territory to serve as a launchpad for drones recently used in attacks against the country, with a senior Sudanese Foreign Ministry official calling the alleged launches "a dangerous development that could undermine security and stability in the region." Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Muawiya Osman Khalid made the remarks at a seminar hosted by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) in Khartoum on allegations of Ethiopian support for the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), the agency reported.

“Ethiopia has not been deterred and has continued its aggression against Sudan,” Khalid said.

His remarks followed drone attacks that targeted six electricity stations in Khartoum, Al-Jazira, Sennar and Al-Qadarif on Wednesday.
