Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he expects Republicans will have little chance of controlling Supreme Court nominations in the coming years, after Democrats seized control of the Senate and voters delivered a major rebuke of President Trump.

“Assuming Republicans lose the seats where prediction markets have the Democrats at 90+% to win, that would produce 55 Democrat Senate seats,” DeSantis said on social media.
