第九届伊斯坦布尔调解会议将于10月23日至24日在土耳其外交部长哈坎·菲丹的主持下举行。
The 9th Istanbul Mediation Conference will be held on Oct. 23-24 under the auspices of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
据土耳其外交部消息，会议将以土耳其总统雷杰普·塔伊普·埃尔多安和联合国秘书长安东尼奥·古特雷斯的视频致辞拉开序幕，随后由菲丹发表开幕致辞。
The conference will open with video messages from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, followed by opening remarks by Fidan, according to Turkish Foreign Ministry sources.
本次会议的主题为“伙伴关系与和平新视角：变革世界中的调解”。
The conference will be held under the theme Partnerships and New Perspectives for Peace: Mediation in a Changing World.
会议将汇聚部长级与会者、各国际组织的秘书长及高级代表，参会组织包括欧洲安全与合作组织（OSCE）、伊斯兰合作组织（OIC）和海湾合作委员会（GCC）。
It will bring together ministerial-level participants, secretaries-general and senior representatives of international organizations, including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
约有200名来自不同地区的高级官员、专家、外交官、学者以及专注于调解与冲突解决的智库代表也将出席本次活动。
Nearly 200 senior officials, experts, diplomats, academics and think tank representatives specializing in mediation and conflict resolution from various regions will also attend the event.

Peaceful resolution of disputes In his opening remarks, Fidan is expected to stress that, amid increasingly complex disputes and evolving conflict dynamics, it is more important than ever for the international community to create space for diplomacy and make effective use of mediation mechanisms.
他还预计将强调土耳其在促进争端和平解决、防止冲突升级以及在包括黑海地区、南高加索、中东、非洲之角和巴尔干地区在内的广阔地理范围内推动对话方面所作的努力。
He is also expected to highlight Türkiye’s efforts to promote the peaceful resolution of disputes, prevent further escalation and foster dialogue across a wide geographical area, including the Black Sea region, the South Caucasus, the Middle East, the Horn of Africa and the Balkans.
